Strawberry Ice Cream
Combine and stir until dissolved:
4 C sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 C boiling water
Add:
3/4 C orange juice concentrate
3/4 C lemonade concentrate
Stir in:
5 C whole milk
12 oz. evaporated milk
1 pint cream
3 1/2 C fresh, mashed strawberries
Add red food coloring a drop at a time until you reach a desired color. Freeze in a 6-quart ice cream freezer.
Note: this is also good with peaches instead of strawberries
